Alexander Vargas Blay, better known as Alex Vargas, is a singer and songwriter born on 17 February 1988 in Hørsholm, Denmark to a Danish/English mother and a Uruguayan father. Aged 15 and still going by his full name, he released his debut album, Rookie, in 2003. In 2005, he relocated to London to pursue his musical career. Here, he was signed to Geffen Records and formed the band Vagabond. In 2010, Alex Vargas disbanded Vagabond to pursue a solo career. In 2013, Alex Vargas released the mini-album Howl on Tiger Music.
