Not to be confused with the eclectic solo chanteuse / female composer - Alū, ALU is an electro-synth / guitar-driven / hysterical post-punk / power electronics trio from Berlin. Started as duo in 1980, that rose from the ashes of the krautrock group Sand, consisted from Ludwig Papenberg (of Variété Kontrast) and Johannes Vester (aka VK 88).
