Alyth McCormack, better known as "Alyth", is a singer and actress born in 1970 and brought up on the Isle of Lewis in the Scottish Outer Hebrides. As a young child on the island off the west coast of Scotland in the 1970s, Alyth was immersed in the culture of Hebridean, Scotland and was given the opportunity from a young age to perform.
