Andrew studied voice with Dame Joan Hammond dbe cmg at the Victorian College of the Arts. He worked widely and was recognised for his work in Early Music. He performed with Acord, Ars Nova, and many other consorts. Operatically he performed 'Nero' in the first opera production at Melbourne's 'La Momma' recreating the role in Douglass Horton's production of Monteverdi's 'Corronation of Poppea' He also played the role of 'Diana' in Barrie Kosky's Australian Premier production of Cavalli's 'La Calisto' .
