Ann Faverey, songwriter van de gelijknamige band, schreef al op zeer jonge leeftijd songs voor haar bands. Als zangeres, gitariste, componiste van de toenmalige Ann Faverey Band won zij in 1988 een persoonlijke aanmoedigingsprijs bij de Grote Prijs van Nederland. Als singer songwriter viel zij op bij diverse festivals. De nieuwe band is ontstaan uit een langgekoesterde wens van Ann Faverey om een popsound te verkrijgen die zich beweegt tussen subtiel en stevig.
