Artworx were born in 2003 in Almada, Portugal, after Carlos Santos (bass), Hugo Lopes (lead guitar) and Carlos Rodrigues (drums) left the band Drakkar. Under another name but with the ongoing goal of finding the remaining musicians (namely Keyboards and Lead Vocals) the band kept composing and practicing. In 2004, and after some rehearsals/auditions with some renowned musicians on the scene, the band finally welcomes Eduardo Inácio(Vocals, Former Apathy) as their new Lead Singer.
