Asuka Kuroiwa 黒岩あすか was born on February 10, 1996, in Osaka. She began playing classical guitar in 2015 and released her first album, Wanan, in 2017. In 2019, she simultaneously released two albums: Reimei with her band, Kuroiwa Asuka to Yoru, and Hikari to Kage under her solo name as her second album. In 2021, she released her third album, Nagasugita Haru, featuring Seiichi Yamamoto. Her live performance with Kuroiwa Asuka to Yoru at Shibuya WWW in 2023 was captured on the album, Yoru ga Kuru.
