Instrumentista (contrabaixista, flautista, saxofonista), cantor e compositor, gravou em 2005 seu "primeiro" albúm solo, "Amendoeira", pela Biscoito Fino. Filho de mãe pianista e descendente do compositor português (radicado nos EUA) John Phillip Sousa (1884-1932), começou a tocar flauta aos nove anos de idade, clarinete aos 12 e saxofone alto aos 16.
