I stay a stone's throw from the motorway and always open the window at night when it rains to hear the tyres clashing with the wet ashpalt. Extremely appreciative of Bohren noting how evocative this piece of ambience is.

Reminds me of the scene in Road To Perdition where Hanks and Craig go to meet Finn at the old warehouse on a dark rainy night.

mh, 'funeral jazz' is a new orleans tradition and ususally with a swing, this music is quite different and has its own merits, but nothing i want my family and friends to hear at my funeral, i want them to be happy, in this case i'd go for the real thing.

Absolutely great. Adore the late night sax. I only think the low parts are a little loud in the mix, as the other instruments and noise assemblies are also very defining the atmosphere. m
