Brixton Moord & Roof Orkes is an Afrikaans folk-rock band from South Africa, founded in 1999 by Andries Bezuidenhout (Roof Bezuidenhout) and Ockert Greeff (Moord Greeff). They broke up in 2007, but are now back together again. Current band members are: Roof Bezuidenhout, Brixton Barnard, Kapelaan Pat Plank and Louis Graham. They sing about mundane modern issues, such as drugs, porn, crime, road rage and love. The name refers to an infamous South African police unit, the Brixton Murder and Robbery Unit.
