CORE OF SOUL is a pop/rock group consisting of three members: Nakamura Fukiko (中村蕗子), Song Rui (宋睿 / ソンルイ), and Iizuka Keisuke (飯塚 啓介). In 1999, during their final high school year, the group represented the Kansai region in the All Japan Final of the 'Teen Music Festival'. They won the 'Encouragement Award' and were given the chance to record a demo, and have it distrubuted by a major label.
