The Frensh soprano, Catherine Dubosc, studied violoncello and music science at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. In the year 1979 she began to study singing with Gerda Hartmann. Starting from 1980 she visited the Ecole d'Art Lyrique of l'Opéra de Paris, awhere her teachers were Denise Dupleix and Hans Hotter.
