Chicago Drive formed on January 3, 2007. It started as a jam project between Alex Pummill (Vocals, Guitar), Matt Herrmann (Guitar), and Kyle Stevenson (Drums). They added friend Brian Powers on bass to complete the line up. They started playing live shows at the beginning of March 2007 and exploded onto the scene. Brian was let go in July, due to personal issues.
