Christine Atallah was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada of Lebanese heritage. She rebelled at a young age demonstrating a talent for performing and for frustrating her conservative parents. Her first televised performance was a belly dance at the age of four years old. Her musical life started very young with piano lessons and a berth in the youth choir of her church.
