The album De-mentions is an autobiography of sorts based on a brush with death that Collab had in April of 2008. After problems throughout his whole adult life with drugs and alcohol, Collabs motivation to release the album came just before his 5 year sobriety date as a catalyst to inspire people with the same afflictions as himself, and to let the listeners know, it is possible to overcome anything.
