Dáithí Sproule (born in Derry, Northern Ireland, on 23 May 1950) is a guitarist and singer of traditional Irish music. He is the grandson of Irish politician Frank Carney and uncle of singer Claire Sproule. He co-formed the band Skara Brae in 1970 and has been a member of the band Altan since 1992. He has collaborated with many artists, including recording as Dáithí Sproule & Laura MacKenzie.
