Dah-Veed
132 listeners
Dah-Veed is Austin's own David Garza. He went by this name for his mid-1990's albums "Culture Vulture" and "Blind Hips in Motion", presumably to clarify to all the misinformed music pundits the correct way of pronouncing his first name. Garza made some fantastic music during his Dah-Veed years. (as well as in all the other phases of his talent-laden and prolific career) Catchy and witty, latin-influenced pop characterizes the Dah-Veed years, and if one listens carefully, one can even hear the influences of people like Paul Simon, and Patsy Cline in the music.
