David Connell is an acoustic guitarist and musician who grew up in his hometown of Geraldton, Western Australia. He began playing the bass guitar at the age of 8 developing many techniques known to the fingerstyle guitar world. learning self-taught. At age 9 he was introduced to the guitar and began playing worship songs in church. In autumn of 2008, David moved to Greenville, South Carolina, where he met fingerstyle guitar artist, Dave Wike.
