Denise Marshall Clark is a powerful, old-fashioned, gospel singing “Powerhouse”. Denise was reared in Detroit and educated in the city’s public school system. Denise’s musical career started at age 5 singing in her church; the Whitlock Memorial Church of God in Christ in Detroit, Michigan. Denise remembers singing in Sunday school, the Sunshine Band, and later in the church choir. Denise with her two sisters, the younger of which is her twin, sang in a group called “Tommy Eubanks and the Marshall Trio”, which was affectionally known as “Tommy’s Angels”.
