Devastation was a heavy metal band from Borås, Sweden. The band formed in early 2004 and went through a few name changes before ultimately settling with Devastation. To avoid confusion with several other bands using the name, they later added "(Sweden)" for certain public purposes. Internally the band name was often shortened and referred to as "Deva" by the band themselves. However, the band's releases were all published as Devastation, which they regarded as their true name.
