Diamond Duck Wheat was a Marin County based acoustic band that originated at Marin Academy, an independent high school located in San Rafael, California. The group was comprised of Nicholas Leonard, Sandra Sears, Daniel Rhine, Daniella Sears and Dylan Flynn and experienced brief local success in 2004-2005. They are noted for their tasteful acoustic covers of songs by a variety of artists including Modest Mouse, Gillian Welch, Pink Floyd, and more.
