In late 2006 three close friends from the small town of Barstow, CA got together to create a genre of music that had not yet swept through the local High Desert area. This collaboration led to the formation of Duck Duck Goose (DDG), with David Ribera as vocals, Jacob Nichols on guitar, and Joe Rojas on drums.
