Lonely Generation is Echosmith’s second studio album and first independent release as an independent band. It is their first studio project in over 7 years, since the release of their 2013 album Talking Dreams. In 2017, it seemed like the release of their second studio album was coming after releasing the lead single “Goodbye” on July 14, 2017. They then continued to release 2 more singles, “Future Me” and “Dear World”. The band decided to postpone their upcoming album and tour until April 2018.
