"Rocket Ride" is the seventh studio album by the German power metal band Edguy, released on 20 January 2006. The album represents a stylistic shift from the band’s earlier work, incorporating a stronger hard rock influence alongside elements of their established power metal sound. In Europe, the album’s limited first edition was issued as a digibook. This edition included a photographic retrospective of the band featuring previously unreleased images from their early years, as well as a bonus live track, "Land of the Miracle".

Edguy is a German power metal band formed in 1992 in Fulda by school students Tobias Sammet, Jens Ludwig, Dirk Sauer, and Dominik Storch. The band’s name originated as a joking reference to a mathematics teacher. After releasing early demo tapes in 1994, the band was rejected by multiple record labels before self-releasing an unofficial debut album, “Savage Poetry”, in 1995. In 1997, Edguy signed with AFM Records and released “Kingdom of Madness”, followed by “Vain Glory Opera” in 1998.
