Fiber 2001 were an experimental hip-hop, drum n bass, acid jazz, funk and breakbeat band from Boston. The band started as an experimental jazz trio in the basement practice rooms of Berklee College of Music in Boston in the year 1997. Fiber started out playing private parties that were routinely busted by the police. From there, they hit Boston's underground hip hop circuit with Edan who was the frontman of the group, and their reputation began to blow up.
