Food Chain has it roots in Hollywood, Florida. The group of 4 got together in 1998 and by the turn of the millenium were rapidly breaking into the local punk scene. Due to a number of factors though the group's tenure came to an abrupt halt. Food Chain put out an independent album, "The Aftershock", in the Spring of 2000. However, due to a lack of funds, and a temporary hiatus by the band's drummer the band was forced into recording only acoustic tracks for the album. The result was inspiring.
