The beginnings of the band occurred at a music session at the 2014 Willie Clancy Festival in Ireland when Géza Frank, Mohsen Amini and Jean Damei played together for the first time. Shortly afterwards, fiddler Jean-Christophe Morel joined and Fourth Moon was born.
