funguson has existed since 1994 and has always consisted of Pål Ingholm (guitar/vocals), Espen Helvig (bass/guitar/vocals and Tom Bye (drums). The trio has released several singles and EP's, and the highly acclaimed debut album "Penguin Lovegame". The band is inspired by music from four decades. In a way you can say that the typical funguson sound would be to mix 60`s 12-string Rickenbacker guitars with floating modulation effects from the 70`s space/prog rock, 80`s synthesizers and walls of fuzz from the 90's US east coast rock scene.
