The Grupo de Acção Cultural - Vozes na Luta (GAC) was a collective of politically committed singers and musicians, born from the revolutionary period in Portugal, after the 25th of April 1974. It was founded in May 1974 by José Mário Branco, Fausto, Afonso Dias and Tino Flores who met at a revolutionary songs session in Almada. It was at Fausto's house that, that same night, he decided to create the Cultural Action Group.
