Gian Groen is known as the creative force behind hard rock group Spinnekop. Gian is fast becoming one of the most prolific songwriters in South Africa. His music has deepened and matured and now his sharp, tongue-in-cheeck social commentary is augmented with hauntingly beautiful love songs. More and more of his songs are finding their way onto the albums of top artists, like Dozi and Laurika Rauch , amongst others.
