Recently picked up by Kenny Dope who released her single "Working Woman" on his Kay-Dee label, Gizelle Smith is considered to be the next big thing in today's deep funk scene. After 3 smash 45s and a full-length album with much respected Hamburg-based record label and live band The Mighty Mocambos, Gizelle is ready to launch her solo career with the new single "June". A sister funk masterpiece destined to rock the dance-floors and soon become a future classic. On the flipside, Alice Russel / Tru Thoughts funk producer TM Juke pushes the track even harder with a more dj-friendly cut. Still deep funk, still soul, still great….Not to be missed!
