Our band started playing hymns in a local church to accompany the pianist and organist during the morning worship service. At the time, we were mainly comprised of a guitar, two trumpets and a sax player. We enjoyed playing preludes, postludes and an occasional song with the choir on Sundays. Over time we were asked to play for special events at the church such as Christmas programs etc. Our appeal caught on and we gained a few more members.
