Formed on April 27, 2017, "Hikari no naka ni" originated in the Light Music Club of their high school. The founding members were Kahoru Yamashita (vocals, guitar, lyrics, composition), Hiyori Takeuchi (bass, backing vocals), and Joe (drums).
