Iasos (born in Greece in 1947, American resident from 1951, died in Maui, Hawaï, 6 January 2024) was s a / musician living in California. Along with his colleague Steven Halpern, Iasos was one of the earliest creators of the 'New Age' genre. His company, Inter-Dimensional Music, is still based in Sausalito, California. Iasos began studying piano at age 8 and flute at age 10.
