In “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2,” PinkPantheress hires Bronx rapper Ice Spice for the anticipated remix to depict their heartbroken side of love where men seem to be playing with their emotions.

The song is about PinkPantheress being manipulated and lied to by her partner. Many lyrics such as "Because you only want to hold me when I'm looking good enough" and "Every time I pull my hair, well, it's only out of fear, that you'll find me ugly and one day we'll disappear" are evident that she was insecure during the relationship. Ice Spice’s lyrics change emotions throughout the song. At the start, she appears confident in what she's saying, claiming that he's a cheater who will never find anyone better than her, but towards the end, her voice and tone change. You could say this was her realisation that they won't be together anymore. E.g "But I don't sleep enough without you, and I can't eat enough without you, if you don't speak does that mean we're through? Don't like sneaky shit that you do."

The collaboration went viral after PinkPantheress and Ice Spice were spotted by fans filming the music video in New York City. On January 18, 2023, a fan recorded the duo were seen filming for the music video outside an apartment and on the subway. The song debuted at #14 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
