Imphal Talkies and The Howlers, also known as Imphal Talkies, are a four-piece folk rock band from Imphal, Manipur. Formed in 2008, the band comprises Riki Chingangbam (Vocals), Akhu Ronid Chingangbam (Guitars and Vocals), Sachidananda Angom (Guitars) and Raju Athokpam (Bass). Their delicate guitar leads, mellow drums and elegant vocals drive their music. In 2009, they released their debut album, Tiddim Road, which was called the voice of the North East.
