The self-titled unofficial EP, comprised of four songs, all named after fruit, was released on MySpace in 2007 by the short lived ambient music project Insect Airport which was ran by Adam Young who also makes music through their other side projects like Owl City, Sky Sailing, Port Blue, Color Therapy, Seagull Orchestra and his real name Adam Young. “Apple” was later re-released under Adam Young’s project Adam Young Scores in 2016 and re-dubbed “Interstellar Space” and was released under the album Voyager 1.

Insect Airport is a short lived side-project by Adam Young. Only four songs were ever released under this name. They are usually collected into a self titled EP, however, this is unofficial. Young also records under the names Owl City, Sky Sailing, Port Blue, Color Therapy, Seagull Orchestra and his own name, Adam Young.
