Biography
Ivan Čkonjević is guitarist from Subotica (Serbia).

From spring of 2010. he is leader of Orkestar "Gradovi utočišta".
Besides playing solo, he was active as member of post-rock band Ana Never and collective Belgrade Noise Society. He performs as guest in Jesenji orkestar Daniela Kovača. Often he collaborates with Wo0 (founder of BNS, and solo artist), and young violinist Marko Radišić; beside other Belgrade Noise Society members, he performed with: Matjaž Mancek (Alzheimer Trio), Simon Spurrier (Sickoakes ), Jamal Al Kiswani, Julien Baillod, Vladimir Lenhart (Klopka za pionira), Igor Stangliczky, Andras Juhasz and others. Ivan Čkonjević. beside musicians, collaborates with video artists and film makers moustly with Milica Jovčić and Mane Žuđelović.
With Predrag Vernački, Vladimir Rašković and Tijana Stanković, Ivan organises evenings of improvised music called Improstor (more info: http://improstor.blogspot.com ).
