Ivy Dye is an indie rock band from Chicago, IL that was formed in late 2011. Their first EP "Lyme Times" was released on July 17th, 2012 and received a good amount of attention, leading to several features on big-name music blogs. The second EP "Continuations" was released on January 19th, 2013 to even more critical praise and a more refined sound. Compared to Lyme Times, Continuations has a darker feel, with lyrical themes focusing on the complexities of life and death. To celebrate the release of the EP, they played a show at Chicago's The Elbo Room on the same day.
