This cue is played as Captain Kirk and Chief Engineer Scott journey to the Enterprise. As many fan's are aware, Kirk practically worships his ship. The music is his emotional journey as he is reunited with his love. This particular track went through least lest one major change with the original being much more modest. The composer was hard pressed to finish recording the music before the release of the film. However, his efforts were successful and this is among his most stirring pieces of motion picture music.
