As well as helping to form folk music vocal groups Swan Arcade and Coope Boyes & Simpson, Boyes released a solo album in 1992 and recorded an album with artist]Belinda O'Hooley as Jim Boyes & Belinda O'Hooley. In 1970, Boyes helped form Swan Arcade, a British folk music vocal group.
