Yarn and Glue is the self-distributed second EP by American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joanna Newsom. It was released on CD-R format in 2003. The EP was produced by Joanna Newsom and Noah Georgeson, both ex-members of the defunct rock band The Pleased, who were in the band and in a relationship at the time of the EP's production. Joanna Caroline Newsom is an American singer, songwriter, musician and actress. Born and raised in Northern California, Newsom was classically trained on the harp in her youth and began her musical career as a keyboardist in the San Francisco-based indie band The Pleased.
