Biography
Julia Hummer was born in Hagen, Germany in 1980. She spent most of youth in Northern Germany and Switzerland. Hummer dropped out of school at the age of seventeen. Her career started when a photographer saw her on a street in Hamburg. After this meeting, she was featured on the cover of the German magazine JETZT. Afterwards, she was cast by an up-and-coming director for the 1998 film GIGANTIC.
Hummer was cast in several other acting roles in other films and TV shows although she was never formally trained as an actor. In 2002, Hummer decided to focus on a music career. Eventually a band was formed, and Hummer recorded the album DOWNTOWN COCOLUCCIA under the name "Julia Hummer & Too Many Boys" in 2005.
Currently Julia lives in Berlin, with her son, where she enjoys such hobbies as boxing, soccer and skateboarding.
