At the age of 13 Justin went to his Dad and Stepmom and asked them to buy him his first guitar; a black Ibanez electric. He picked it up quickly and before long asked for his first acoustic guitar. This provided Justin the sound he was looking for. As his abilities grew, he was asked by his church to start leading music during the worship service.
