Originally known as The Royal Crests from Scotland, Karl Stuart and The Profiles (who included guitarist Miller Anderson and keyboardist Eddie Hammill) changed their name into Karl Stuart & The Profiles on moving to London. Mercury Records issued their only single under this name, 'Love of My Eyes' (September 1965), before the group changed their name again, this time to The Profile. Two more 45s followed: 'Haven't They Got Better Things to Do' and the Harold Burrage cover, 'Got to Find a Way'.
