The group "Keksi" was founded on 1997 by Aleksandrs Sircovs. Already after a month the group started concert activities with participating at International Rock Festival in Tartu, Estonia. Then followed performances at several festivals in Latvia and Estonia, as well as in music clubs. On 1999 two members of the group went to Singapore with Rhythm'n'blues group "Rebel", where performed in clubs for six months. After their return the group resumed concert activities.
