Written 1996 / '97, recorded Upperdoon Studio 2002. Inspired by divorce, family seperation, city living & the personal journey of a plane crash survivor (British Midland). The first few lines were written whilst listening to Paddy Casey playing at the Music Centre, Dublin on an off night. First performed in Dublin to Luka Bloom and audience at a songwriters night '96 or so. Paddy said it was a great song but an awful performance, and Luka didn't rate it that much but showed me a few chords, out of sympathy i suppose. View wiki
