Kings of Convenience are a Norwegian indie duo formed in Bergen, Norway. The band members are Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe. Erlend and Eirik met through geography, which was an interest they had in common. Erlend Øye has released some solo material he made when he lived in Germany. Erlend has also written and contributed on vocals for some of the tracks on Röyksopp's album Melody A.M.
