Kings of Convenience are an indie folk-pop/rock duo formed in a little white house outside Bergen in Norway. Erlend makes us laugh with his special dances, and Eirik likes to disco. They first learned how to play guitar by visiting the mountains of essex, and they came across a fruity little bugger with a beard named Gordon. He taught them how to strum backwards and how to play the once thought impossible "H" chord. The "H" chord has only ever before been played on piano by Rachmoninoff in his epic "Rach III," but The Kings of Conveniece have been able to use a combination of 3 guitars to reach the desired spectrum of notes, 4 of which only exist in the same realm as the square root of negative one.
