Kjøtt (Meat in English) was a band from Oslo, Norway. The lineup consisted of singer Helge Gaarder, drummer Michael Krohn, guitarists Erik Aasheim and Jøran Rudi and bass guitarist Per Tro. They were active from 1979 to 1981 and released one of the most classic seven inches "Ett nytt og bedre liv" in February 1980. Right after they followed up with one just as classic 12" EP.
